OFFICIAL NOTICE: Boil Advisory Lifted – City of Winnfield
The City of Winnfield would like to inform residents that the boil advisory previously issued for the city has been officially lifted as of 10:00 AM on January 30.
This advisory was implemented as a precautionary measure in coordination with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) following recent weather-related conditions. LDH contacted the City on the afternoon of January 28 to initiate the advisory. Water samples were subsequently collected and received at approximately 3:00 PM on January 29. Throughout the entire testing and monitoring period, all water quality results remained above the required safety thresholds established by LDH.
Based on these confirmed results, LDH has authorized the lifting of the boil advisory, and normal water use may now resume.
On behalf of the City of Winnfield, the Mayor would like to extend his sincere gratitude to all city departments and personnel for their professionalism, dedication, and tireless efforts during this challenging period of severe weather. Their continued commitment ensured the safety and well-being of our community.
We also thank our residents for their patience, understanding, and cooperation during the advisory period. Your support is greatly appreciated.
For future updates or official notices, please continue to follow the City of Winnfield’s official communication channels.
