City of Winnfield Online Utility Billing

City of Winnfield utility customers pay one bill for electricity, water, sewer, and garbage. Customers can pay a utility bill, transfer an account, or establish a new account at the Light and Water Department. The office is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dropbox service is available for after-hours payments. Customers must pay by cash, check(exact amount), credit or debit card (there is a convenience fee for card services), or money order or have the payment drafted from their checking account monthly.

New Residential Water Service

To start a new residential water service, the customer must come to our office located at 804 E. Lafayette Street and see a customer service representative. The customer needs to bring the following information:

  1. Valid Federal or State ID
  2. Social Security Card
  3. Lease/Rent Agreement
  4. Deposit amount if $275.00(residential, rental or trailer) Owner of resident($190.00)

If you have not previously enrolled, have a recent utility bill in front of you.  Enrollment requires:

  1. City of Winnfield Utility Account Number and Billing Zip Code printed on bill.
  2. Username and password.
  3. Email address.

Bank Draft for Water/ Electric Account

A voided check is needed for routing/checking account number verification.  Customer can apply in office, by mail or fax information with form to 318-628-4919.
