Boil Advisory Lifted 5/13/2025 12:27 P.M

To: All Residents and Business Owners
Subject: Boil Water Advisory Lifted
Please be advised that the Boil Water Advisory has now been lifted. You may resume using tap water for drinking, cooking, and other household activities.
Key Information:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
You do not need to use any specific cleaning products to sanitize faucets, ice machines, or other water-dispensing devices.
Appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines do not require special cleaning or sanitizing. Running water through them is sufficient.
Flushing Your Water System:
If you do not have a filtration system, flush your cold water taps for five minutes to clear any lingering contaminants from your pipes.
This step applies to houses, apartments, condos, and businesses. Multi-family buildings do not require additional flushing due to shared plumbing systems.
Water Pressure and Contamination:
There is no need to be concerned about water pressure changes. The system remains pressurized, and no additional time is required for pressure normalization.
Boil water notices are typically issued as a short-term precautionary measure. The water is now safe to use.
Pets:
Wash pet water bowls with soap and water before refilling with tap water.
Businesses and Restaurants:
No special steps are required before reopening to the public. The same flushing process applies.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please call Customer Service at 318-913-0358.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this advisory period.
